Fundraising Penalty Shoot-Out
…Making a positive contribution.
A sponsored Penalty Shoot-Out to help the school and the Trust raise much needed funds.
Every pupil can participate in the event and they will be given a sponsorship form which can be made either per penalty scored or just a set amount for taking part in the shoot-out.
Once all the money is raised SUCET split the costs 50/50 between the school and themselves.
Pupils will also have the opportunity of collecting the sponsorship up until the day of the event, the pupils will have to bring their sponsorships forms on the day to be signed and also collect them once the event has finished.
All pupils that are sponsored will each take 10 penalties against the Southend United Community & Educational Trust Goalkeepers with the aim to successfully score as many as possible. All of the scores will be recorded which enabled the final sponsorship to be completed and collected.
Pupils who are not sponsored will not have to feel left out as they will still be able to take part and are limited to 5 penalties each.
Each Pupil who raises the most money within their classes will recieve a Southend United medal and if you have raised the most within the entire school you will recieve a voucher for the brand new 2011/2012 season Southend United official kit.
Additionally, all pupils taking part will recieve a certificate and will have the chance to meet Sammy the Shrimp and Elvis J Eel, the clubs official mascots.
With the collecting of the money all pupils will need to bring their forms with them on the day, this is so they can record how many goals are scored. The teachers will hand back forms to allow pupils to collect money and bring it into school accordingly.
For the sake of the money not being lost it would be ideal that all cash and cheques are placed inside a sealed envelope stating how much is enclosed and addresed to Southend United Community & Educational Trust.
All of the money will be needed in to the school office no later than a date which we will give you which is where we will collect the money and then start printing certificates and vouchers.
