Girls Only Coaching Sessions

Working in partnership with the Essex Active Sport Initiative and The Football Association, the Trust can tailor a programme of activity which meets the needs of novice and more experienced players alike. We can also provide pathways for girls interested in joining a club and participating in competitive matches.

Just how popular is female football in Essex? The answer"s easy....

Last year saw over 150 girls turn up for Essex School trials in Brentwood while Three Lions FC coaching clubs cropped up in local primary schools all over the county.

Couple that with the ECFA"s brand new Female Football Coaches Association and you"ll understand that the only way is up for the Women"s and Girls game in Essex!

Emma Wake looks after female football in Essex and has a wealth of experience in playing and coaching on the East coast of America: "I used to co-ordinate adult football programmes at an indoor facility in Montclair as well as coaching both girls and boys and playing for the New Jersey Wildcats," said the current Colchester United Ladies captain.
