Stadium Legends

Stadium Legends is a 5 week intergenerational reminiscence initiative that uses reminiscence about sports clubs and its neighbourhood, plus sport in general, as a common interest bringing older and younger generations of all communities local to the clubs, together.

 

It aims to attract older and younger people who are traditionally hard to engage in learning and build relationships between generations by sharing common interests. Following an initial ‘taster’ event’ a follow up programme is developed based on participant feedback that will further explore areas of common interest whilst at the same time include elements such as functional literacy, numeracy, ICT and workplace skills.
